Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Fiji Islands has been providing shelter care to stray animals and low cost clinical services to pet owners in Fiji since 1953.

They aim to re-home animals and increase public awareness on the importance of proper pet and animal care and in doing so instill a deeper respect for all creatures, big and small.

The SPCA is currently collaborating with other stakeholders to address the stray animal populations. A major initiative of SPCA is their CLAW program. This involves teams of volunteer vets visiting Fiji to conduct intensive DESEXING programs of stray animals.
